woven on morning's silhouette loom shimmering like a feverish angel wearing a smoke ring halo running like paint a skeletal whisper of a girl, so I cut the tape again threw out the grounded frames and kept the space beneath me, now I'm an aerialist like you're an aerialist we're cameos in the wind we gather like vultures on the pendulum ball and ride out genocidal time, like watery sailors of dirt streams builders and smashers and rebuilders of statues, mouths full of dust citizens of go from pudgy babyhood to hog-faced tortoise-necked manhood and mosquito-faced womanhood and beyond and you the goddess suspended jumping moon boughs caress air between narrow knotted tethers and devour laughing night. | |
